Jackets range from stable workwear to bonded softshell and technical waterproof garments. The fabric and garment construction determine whether direct embroidery or old-logo removal is appropriate.
Softshell
Softshell is generally inspection-led for old-logo removal because bonded stretch fabric can retain needle marks or distortion.
Waterproof garments
Technical membrane and coated rainwear should not be promised for standard unpicking because visible perforations or waterproofing damage can remain.
Cover solutions
Where removal is unsafe, a larger embroidered patch or covering treatment may be assessed instead.

Can waterproof jackets be embroidered?+
Some can be embroidered, but the construction and waterproof membrane need to be considered because needle penetration can affect waterproof performance.
Can an embroidered jacket logo be removed?+
It depends on the fabric. Softshell usually requires inspection, while technical waterproof, coated nylon, leather and similar high-risk materials are not standard unpicking candidates.
