Will removing embroidery damage my clothing?
Old stitches can leave small holes or marks. Stable fabrics are often better candidates. Delicate, waterproof and stretchy fabrics need closer review. We never promise perfect restoration.

What if I do not know the stitch count?+
Start with a visual embroidery size such as Small logo or Standard chest logo. For a stronger estimate, enter exact width × height in millimetres or upload artwork. A known stitch count and DST provide the strongest automated pricing basis.
Can I upload a DST file?+
Yes. The order form accepts DST files as well as common artwork formats. If you know the stitch count from your digitised file, select stitch-count pricing.
Where are you based and can I collect?+
Embroiders is at 1 Chadwick Avenue, Wynberg, Sandton, Gauteng 2090. Collection is available from the Wynberg location once your order is ready.
Do you deliver in Gauteng and nationwide?+
Yes. Gauteng delivery: next working day after dispatch. Nationwide RSA delivery is also available. Production timing is confirmed after artwork approval and order review.
Do you offer trade embroidery?+
Yes. Branding companies and uniform partners can use Embroiders as a specialist embroidery production partner while managing their own customer relationship.
Can we repeat a previous corporate logo or order?+
Yes. Customer and company workspaces retain order history, artwork and production specifications so repeat orders can start from a previous job and use current pricing.
Can you remove an old embroidered logo and rebrand the garment?+
Yes, when the garment is suitable. Standard unpicking is R20 excl. VAT per garment for each old logo position removed, with the new embroidery priced separately. Upload a clear photo and the old/new logo dimensions. The replacement branding must fully cover the previous stitch footprint, and every garment remains subject to physical inspection.
Which fabrics are not suitable for standard unpicking?+
Leather, suede, vinyl, silk or satin, thin performance fabrics, technical moisture-wicking fabrics, microfibre, open knits, rib-knit beanies, waterproof membrane jackets and coated rainwear normally require manual review. If clean removal is unlikely, we may recommend a larger embroidered patch or another covering solution instead.
